Vigo: II raid Rias Baixas catamaran

The Rias Baixas Catamaran Raid takes place in the waters of the Ria de Vigo, three days in which runs through the interior of the estuary ending in Bayonne. The first day is starting point Vao Beach, tracing a path from the beach of Punta Redondela and return to Vigo.

The second day of the season again from Vao Nautical face into the river, making way to the Cies Islands and goes face to Bayonne. The third day is for technical tests and made several windward-leeward sheltered bay Baiona, disputing the sleeves up to American Beach in Nigrán.

The expected participation this year is over 100 sailors and 60 boats in the water, doubling the 27 of the first edition of the race. The boats come from different parts of the peninsula and Portugal since the test aims to become a benchmark for the modality of southern Europe. To this end the race was presented in different boat shows such as Paris and Düsseldorf.
